2009年06月16日 Let’s Get Up to Speed

Get Up to Date…
I’ve been slacking in the blogging department. I’m sorry about that because my life is just be so fabulous I’ve had no time… well more like I’ve been to lazy and couldn’t be bothered. Anyways I’m gonna make an effort and get up to date. Enjoy the abridged version of events to date.

My Schools I’m finished my semester at my junior high school and my 3 weeks at my elementary school. Now I’m in the middle of teaching at my third school of the term. The school is a 30 minute bike ride, which wouldn’t be bad if the cycle to work wasn’t so hilly. It’s an okay school. I shouldn’t play favorites, but my previous school was better. Without going too into detail, I think part of the reason is it was way more organized. All the broken links on my current school’s website just illustrates my point.

My Evaluation I go my evaluation. Overall I got a very good score from my first two schools…Though one school graded me satisfactory on attendance, which is totally bull, but I guess they have to find some negative.

My Work Visa I’m in the process of getting my Visa renewed. I hope it gets done soon so I can join Heather on her trip to Singapore during summer vacation. I have plans to go to Indonesia too and see Jakarta and Bali. Let’s hope it all falls into place. I need to be brown! I would love to go home to, so if your willing to help fund me *wink wink* :P

My Back I’m almost reached full hoochie popping capacity. Not-to-mention winding and any other dance move that are full of flavor. On occasion, if I walk a lot or have a long day my back will act up. But I’m happy that I’m no longer crippled. I’ll be dropping it like it’s hot in no time!

My iPod I was on my way into Tokyo and transferring at Nishi-Nippori Station cause I had fell asleep and should have got off to transfer at Tabata Station. As a result I was rushing to switch trains to backtrack. I was dashing off the train and I dropped my iPod onto the track. ^^ I had the station master retrieve it for me. There goes 15 minutes of my life.

My Long Vacation I will be off work for 3 months. Had I feel the need to budget as I will have no income during that time. I broke it down and and other than rent, utilities, possible trips and residence taxes *grr*… I have to watch out for how much I spend on food and going out. Especially if I wanna start taking Japanese lessons. I’ll work it out. I just won’t eat and look starving fabulous! LOL. BTW the dog has nothing to do with anything. The ears are just amusing.
