Itai!!! Oh yes! It’s another installment of “Oh F*ck My Back Be Paining Again!”. Pain is a bitch! Though it’s interesting how people react to pain verbally. Like in English we say, “Oww!” or “Ouch!” or perhaps even the odd profanity. In Japan people usually say, “Itai!” When my mom gets hurt she says “Aray!” being the Filipino (Tagalog) equivalent. |
Since school started, my back has been aching! I’m growing into an old man. My back always hurts, but it seems the frequency is increasing, but the pain always subsides eventually. I’m hoping my back gets better soon, amongst other things. I’m in a mood to bitch about it, but not at a point to see a doctor… yet!
In Japan people see a doctor for the smallest things. Back home, we usually wait until it gets really bad before considering a doctor. I still favor the Western methodology of dealing with health problems – a matter of if and when things get really bad.
Doctor’s Visit
So I decided to go see my doctor after it got a little too much. The pain was really bad! I think mostly cause I ride a bike to school now and I guess it put a lot of pressure on my back or something. Anyways the doctor put a needle in my lower back and it helped a lot. For a while I was feeling better… I guess from all the pain killers, but the pain is still there. I hope it subsides soon. Wish me well. No hoochie-popping for a while. ;P
Speaking of hoochie popping. Watch Justin Timberlake on SNL. It has nothing really to do with back pains… Well, maybe if you did it wrong! Anyways enjoy!

It’s almost Golden Week, which is kind of like March Break or Spring Break to the Western world.
Last year I wasted my whole break at home and I was determined to do something this time around. The idea of going to Nagano was thrown out there, but failed to develop as things change and new plans arose. I should have planned ahead. I had the opportunity to go to Indonesia, but it’ll have to wait when the semester ends and I have free time. Besides ticket prices at this time are just ridonkulous! Golden Week may prove not to be so golden.
At least we are having a little get together this weekend. It will prove to be a welcome distraction… There are a lot of things on my mind that don’t necessarily involve vacationing and Golden Week. Suffice to say it’s been a confusing few days.
Where’s Deanna Troy when you need her? LOL
